General Information

Hindley Karate Club Instructor: Jim Brennan (2nd Dan). Been teaching for over 25 years. Contact No. 07563 247 472 after 6pm.

Being an instructor I am CRB verified and cleared, a requirement by our organisation (KUGB).  H.K.C. is a Shotokan Martial Arts club and is affiliated to the Karate Union of Great Britain (KUGB) We are also part of the Sei Do Kan Karate clubs.

Clubs at Hindley Sports Centre, Hindley and St. Elizabeth's Church Hall, Bolton Road in Aspull.See above.

It is a mixed children's and adults class, children from aged 5 years, no upper limit.

I try to encourage the parents to join in, and reap the benefits of training with their children, instead of just sitting there and watching. It promotes closer family ties whilst both can help each other as they progress through their grades.
